Overview
CJC-1295 with DAC is a synthetic growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analogue carrying a drug affinity complex — a maleimidopropionyl group that binds serum albumin — which markedly extends its circulating half-life in study models compared with unmodified GHRH fragments.
Background
GHRH(1-29) is cleared within minutes, which made long time-course work impractical. Substituting the positions most vulnerable to enzymatic cleavage and adding the albumin-binding DAC group produced a sequence usable across multi-day study designs.
Handling & storage
